TrueCoach plans at a glance
All three plans share the same core features. What you pay for is the client cap. Standard and Pro also unlock wearable integrations and Zapier automations.
| Plan | Active clients | Monthly price | Per client at the cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 5 | $26.34 | $5.27 |
| Standard | Up to 20 | $57.99 | $2.90 |
| Pro | Up to 50 | $136.99 | $2.74 |
| 50+ | Custom | Email support for a quote |
Annual billing gives one month free on Starter and two months free on Standard and Pro. First-time annual subscribers get a 90-day money-back guarantee. The trial is 14 days with no card.
Where the caps bite
The jump from Standard to Pro is the one to plan around. Client 21 takes you from $57.99 to $136.99, an extra $79 a month for one more person. Between 21 and 50 clients you are paying for seats you may not fill.
Above 50 there is no public price. TrueCoach asks you to email support, and the page mentions separate pricing again at 250 clients.
What a trainer with 30 clients pays
A trainer with 30 active clients needs Pro. That is $136.99 a month, or $1,644 a year billed monthly. On annual billing with two months free it is about $1,370.
The same trainer on Onyx Coach pays €29 a month on Pro, with unlimited clients. Nothing changes at client 21, 51 or 251.

TrueCoach has a large library of demo videos and a longer track record with online coaches. If wearable data or Zapier flows are central to how you coach, it does that and Onyx does not.
Who each one is for
TrueCoach fits online coaches with a stable roster under 20 who want wearable data and automations, and who are happy to move to Pro when they cross that line.
Onyx Coach fits trainers who coach in the gym as well as online, whose client count moves month to month, and who would rather not think about caps. At 20 clients TrueCoach Standard is $57.99; Onyx is €29 and stays there.
