All three plans share the same core features, including MyFitnessPal nutrition tracking, messaging and payments. What you pay for is the client cap. Standard and Pro also add wearable integrations, a custom-branded app and Zapier automations. Where the caps bite
The jump from Standard to Pro is the one to plan around. Client 21 takes you from $69.98 to $164.98 on monthly billing, an extra $95 a month for one more person ($57.99 to $136.99 on annual). Between 21 and 50 clients you are paying for seats you may not fill.
The only way to stay under a cap is to archive someone. Archived clients do not count toward the limit, but they cannot log in to TrueCoach until you reactivate them. Upgrades are pro-rated against what you have already paid; downgrades wait until the end of the billing period.
Above 50 there is no public price. TrueCoach asks you to email support, and the page mentions separate pricing again at 250 clients.
What a trainer with 30 clients pays
A trainer with 30 active clients needs Pro. That is $164.98 a month, or $1,979.76 a year billed monthly. Billed annually it is $136.99 a month, $1,643.88 for the year.

TrueCoach has a large library of demo videos and a longer track record with online coaches. If Zapier flows are central to how you coach, it does that and Onyx does not.
