Start a set at the top of every minute; whatever is left of the minute is the rest.
A ten-minute EMOM of 3 power cleans at 70% gives ten quality sets with built-in rest. The reps should take 20 to 40 seconds so 20 to 40 seconds of rest remain.
It controls density, keeps technique high because the reps are few, and clients like the structure. Alternating EMOMs (odd minutes exercise A, even minutes exercise B) fit two movements in.
Progress by adding minutes or load, not reps per minute, or the rest disappears.
